During the pandemic, we were all looking for some type of positive type of activities for my grandkids. Well, Scripps Performing Arts Academy fit the bill with their virtual online programs! The ABC Dance With Me program has been marvelous! Simple to use, engaging for the children, and was a wonderful program and opportunity to get away from the tedium of online school instruction! Thank you SPAA!!!

My daughter has danced with SPAA since she was 2 years old. She is now 17. SPAA has given my daughter a challenging yet nurturing training environment. They have been exceptional in their support of the person not just the dancer. The environment promotes dancers supporting each other and being great friends. I can’t say enough about the staff and Artistic Director, Miah Nwosu. They make us feel like they spend all their time thinking about us. The level of training is outstanding. My daughter has routinely received compliments on her dance from dance opportunities outside SPAA. She hopes to dance professionally and I believe SPAA has provided training, environment, and experiences that will help her fulfill her dream.

My daughter is in her third year at Scripps Performing Arts Academy(SPAA). Since being at SPAA I have seen my shy daughter develop a passion for ballet. She talks about the friends she has made and how much she enjoys ballet at SPAA. She is always practicing new dances that she learned in class. As a parent I smile inside because she is happy and learning so much at SPAA. Ms.Miah, is such a kind and amazing educator. She encourages all her students and leads with grace and kindness. All the teachers and staff are wonderful and do an amazing job! I feel grateful and blessed for my daughter to have the opportunity to be part of the SPAA family. I am especially thankful to Ms. Angela the Founder of Scripps Performing Arts Academy. It is through her vision and passion that has created a pathway for dance, theater and performing arts not just for my daughter but many other students that have come before us. I highly recommend SPAA if you are looking for the very best! You will be absolutely amazed at all you see and experience. But what’s even more impressive is what you don’t see.
